Overnight Hotel Night Auditor - 11pm - 7am

Job Summary:

The Overnight Hotel Night Auditor at Staybridge Suites Omaha West is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight hours. This individual will assist with guest check-in and check-out, handle any guest concerns or issues, and complete all necessary nightly audit and accounting tasks. The Night Auditor will also maintain the hotel's and guests' safety and security during overnight hours.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a part-time (2-3 days a week), hourly position with a pay range of $16.50 to $18.50 per hour. The pay schedule is biweekly. Employees also receive discounted rates on hotel stays and paid time off after one year of employment, free breakfast, and double-time pay if you work eligible holidays.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out processes during overnight hours
- Handle any guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and efficiency
- Balance and close all nightly guest reservations and prepare reports for management review
- Verify and post all guest charges and payments to their accounts
- Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the hotel and its guests during overnight hours
- Prepare and process all overnight batches and end-of-day reports
- Perform other accounting tasks as directed by management
- Complete any other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Manager or General Manager

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a hotel night audit role preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong mathematical and accounting skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed
- Proficient in computer systems and accounting software
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
