What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Beverage Attendant position at Staybridge Suites?
We are looking for a Food and Beverage Attendant to work a varying schedule of Evening Social hours - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday evenings - and weekend morning Breakfast shifts. This position is part time hours, 2-3 shifts per week, and it may vary each week. Extra hours may be available in other departments if interested.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast or evening social menus
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of food
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food service area
- Assist with food preparation for future shifts
- Visit with guests when time allows
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding food service operations
Skills -
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and food safety guidelines
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and coworkers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
