Position Overview: As a Front Desk Agent at Staybridge Suites, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel's front desk and guest services. You will be the first point of contact for guests, providing them with exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. Your responsibilities will include handling guest inquiries, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, and maintaining accurate records of guest information. Additionally, you will collaborate with other hotel staff to address guest needs and resolve any issues that may arise. Part or full time 7A-3P and 3P-11P.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services:
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing a warm welcome upon arrival.
Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of guest information.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, providing information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally and resolve them to the guest's satisfaction.
Provide personalized recommendations and assistance to enhance the guest experience.
Reservations and Check-ins:
Manage the reservation system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
Process guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations promptly and accurately.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure timely availability of rooms.
Verify guest payment details, collect payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
Communication and Coordination:
Maintain effective communication with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other staff to address guest requests and resolve issues.
Relay important information to guests, such as hotel policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and share relevant guest information.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate guest records, including personal information, payment details, and special requests.
Prepare and distribute daily reports, including occupancy rates, guest arrivals, and departures.
Assist with administrative duties such as filing, organizing documents, and managing office supplies.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service or front desk role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using hotel management software and computer systems.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and maintain composure under pressure.
- Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and services to provide recommendations to guests.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
