We are looking for a hospitality professional to lead our front desk team at Staybridge Suites.
If you are ready to take the next step in your hotel career, we have a great position for you! IHG experience is required. Previous Hotel supervisor experience is required.
This position requires prior high volume hotel front office experience. Requires availability to work all shifts including weekends/holidays.
Responsibilities:*
- Schedules the front office staff
- Evaluates the job performance of each front office employee.
- Ensures each hotel guest remains loyal to the hotel and brand through exceptionally kind and courteous service demonstrated through personal interaction and the direction and oversight of subordinates.
- Trains, cross –trains, and retrains all front office personnel.
- Supervises workload during shifts.
- Ensures that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and other employees.
- Maintain an organized and comprehensive filing system with documentation of purchases, vouchsafing, schedules, forecasts, reports and tracking logs.
- Extremely diplomatic under all circumstances.
- Demonstrates exceptional leadership skills by employing a “can do” attitude – accepts personal responsibility for departmental and hotel service scores and revenues as well as the actions and results of subordinates.
- Ability to “drive” revenue through exceptional salesmanship and by inspiring others to achieve revenue goals.
- Make sure all shifts are covered as scheduled, cover as necessary.
- Oversees and supervises all duties performed by all Front Office employees.
- Accountable for maintaining and monitoring that all employees follow proper cash handling procedures.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Qualifications:
· Previous Hotel Front Office supervisory experience required.
· Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Must be able to type proficiently.
· Excellent time management and leadership and training skills.
· Confident, self-driven, dynamic and loves to learn.
· Good with math, can balance shift credit cards and cash. Good analytical skills.

· Loves interaction with the public, extroverted personality – genuine care for others demonstrated by daily interactions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
