Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively to complete tasks such as painting, drywall installation, and flooring repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify issues that require attention.
- Respond promptly to service requests from clients or management, ensuring timely resolution of problems.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure tools are properly stored after use.
- Use an ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong understanding of maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment, including an ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
