We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping management and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests and ensuring that all areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Collaborate with the hospitality team to provide exceptional service to guests.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing all areas, including bathrooms and kitchens.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices and cleaning techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
