Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of facilities and equipment through regular maintenance and repairs. This role requires a strong mechanical background, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, including but not limited to logic controllers and electrical systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
- Fabricate parts as necessary using welding techniques and other fabrication methods.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Document maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management.
Qualifications
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers, schematics, and electrical systems is a plus.
- Ability to fabricate parts and perform welding tasks as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Previous experience in a maintenance role is desirable but not mandatory.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.59 - $15.98 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
