Job Title: Full-Time Night Auditor
Location: Staybridge Suites West Des Moines
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Weekends Required
Overview:
Are you detail-oriented, great with numbers, and enjoy working independently? Staybridge Suites West Des Moines is seeking a Full-Time Night Auditor to oversee our hotel’s overnight operations from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and providing exceptional guest service during late hours. While hotel experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Night Audit & Financial Reporting:
- Verify and reconcile front office accounting records for accuracy.
- Summarize and compile daily financial reports, including room revenues, occupancy percentages, and payment activities.
- Process guest transactions, including room charges, taxes, and incidentals.
Guest Services & Front Desk Operations:
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle late-night guest inquiries, reservations, and requests professionally.
- Ensure guest safety and security by following proper procedures.
Hotel Oversight & Additional Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Monitor hotel premises, ensuring guest satisfaction and problem resolution.
- Communicate important shift updates to the morning team.
- Follow all safety and emergency procedures as outlined by the hotel.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and handle overnight responsibilities.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, welcoming attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
- Bending and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
