It is StayLakenNorman’s mission to provide superior property management for our homeowners and to give our guests an outstanding vacation experience.  We seek an IT savoy, appliance technician with critical thinking and problem solving skills.Our houses are of high quality and we are constantly raising our standards in order to generate the maximum income for our homeowners and enhance our guests' experience. The Technician should be able to complete the listed below daily responsibilities, but not limited to :

Responsibilities

  • Completing and / or overseeing the general maintenance of our vacation rentals to ensure the high-end properties are maintained to company and guests’ high standards.
  • Be able to diagnose and repair technical issues through various forms of troubleshooting.
  • Setup Wi-Fis and televisions and document for all new properties. Troubleshoot Wi-Fi and television issues at existing properties.
  • Work hand in hand with our cable and internet representatives to instill the best service in our houses.
  • Constantly communicate with management about ongoing issues with accurate documentation, photos and videos.
  • Must provide high quality maintenance services and repairs for all appliances in the home
  • Comfortable with ordering and recommending parts and equipment needed to maintain appliances and technology functionality.
  • Use Property Management software to schedule and document work orders to ensure the owner is invoiced.
  • Maintain receipt logs and purchase receipts for operations.

    • Qualifications

  • Preferred 2 years experience working with Appliances and IT
  • Must pass background check
  • Must have valid driver license and clean driving record
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Some Basic knowledge of lawn management, construction, appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and home maintenance systems is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work day, night, weekend and holiday as needed
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Legal to work in the US with proper identification
  • This is a salary position
  • This position comes with an outfitted company vehicle
  • Pay may be higher with specialty training / certifications
  • This job requires 2 on call weekends per month and 3 on call nights per week

    Available shifts and compensation : We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $23.00 - $27.00 / hour.
