An Equipment Operator Light Duty LG3 job in Sunnyside, WA is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). Operate tractor and equipment utilized in cultural operation. Perform daily servicing and safety inspections of equipment assigned. Fuel equipment as needed. 8 - 9-hour workdays. May be required to work Saturdays. This job is represented by United Farm Workers (UFW).

Equipment Operator Light Duty job responsibilities include:
- Monitor performance of equipment both operationally and to meet safety criteria.
- Report any damage to vines, trellis, irrigation equipment, etc. incurred while operating equipment.
- Assist in irrigation - monitoring of drip system.
- Always remain alert to any environmental conditions.
- Maintain an understanding and proper use of all personal protective equipment.
Position Requirements:
- Must possess valid drivers license.
- Tractor Experience.
- Must be 18 years of age minimum.
- Ability to work in inclement weather.
- Able to meet schedule requirements.
- Previous experience in AG related work, preferably vineyard operation.
- History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
- Ability to navigate uneven terrains
- Occasional lifting, up-to 50 lbs. Required
- Arm movement encompasses extension, raising, and bending
Your Compensation: $17.77/hr.
