Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Technical school coursework preferred.
- At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing, winery, food processing/packaging facility, or similar environment involving the responsibilities mentioned above.
- Working knowledge and experience with VFDs, electrical motors, process controls (PLCs), lighting, alarm systems, fire systems, intercoms, and network wiring instrument calibrations. <>
- Ability to walk, stand, bend/stoop, squat, kneel, climb, twist, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as work at heights with fall protection equipment and at waist and below levels.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work extended hours during peak periods, including periodic shift work in various temperature climates (indoors and outdoors).
- Ability to read and write in English and understand various schematics drawings/instructions.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining positive working relationships in a team environment.
- History of responsible alcohol use and fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
