Role
As the Head of Payer Relations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Steadfast Health by driving strategic partnerships with both government and commercial payers. You will be responsible for leading our payer relationships and managed care contracting activity across the enterprise. This is an exciting opportunity to influence key business outcomes, work across diverse payer landscapes, and contribute to a forward-thinking, mission-driven organization poised for growth. Your expertise will be central in building strong, collaborative relationships that create a lasting impact.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, negotiate and drive the strategic direction of Steadfast Health's managed care contracts and their implementation.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with government and commercial payers that align with Steadfast Health's growth and service delivery goals.
- Lead the negotiation, drafting, and execution of payer contracts, ensuring that terms support our financial and clinical objectives.
- Develop innovative pricing models and contract structures that ensure value to the payer and sustainability for the company.
- Monitor contract performance regarding financial performance, payment integrity, and compliance with contract terms and key performance indicators.
- Monitor payer activity with respect to network development, product strategies, payment policies and other relevant market intelligence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (legal, finance, clinical, etc) in order to ensure coordination and to align payer strategies with business goals.
- Oversee the credentialing process for Steadfast Health and our providers.
