Structural Engineering Technician for a small firm specializing in the design of repair, reconstruction and alteration of buildings in the Mid-Atlantic
Responsibilities
- Measure and document existing building structural conditions, including use of ladders and inspection equipment
- Assess structural conditions in the field
- Prepare written reports
- Prepare construction drawings
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of wood structural framing systems. Familiarity with masonry, steel and concrete a plus
- Understanding of structural drawings
- AutoCAD proficiency a plus
Work will be 50% from home, 50% on construction sites.
Salary $85,000 - $115,000 commensurate with experience. 401k plan with profit sharing.
