Server/Waiter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Ideal candidates will have a passion for culinary excellence and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
• Provide recommendations on menu items, including specials and pairings.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables and clearing dishes.
• Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist in training new servers on restaurant protocols and guest service standards.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Server in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems and OpenTable is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary terminology is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• A commitment to providing excellent guest services with attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $3.63 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
