Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in food management. Duties: - Plan and execute menus in accordance with customer preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal availability of ingredients - Prepare and cook meals in a timely manner, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of taste and presentation - Manage inventory levels and control costs by minimizing waste and utilizing efficient food storage techniques - Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all sanitation and safety regulations - Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and special promotions - Oversee catering events, ensuring that all food is prepared and delivered on time - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in culinary techniques Experience: - Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a restaurant or food service establishment - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and industry best practices - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Proficient in inventory control and cost management - Experience in menu planning and development - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Skills: - Food management - Food service - Kitchen management - Food service management - Inventory control - Leadership - Catering - Restaurant - Food preparation - Dietary department We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
