Position Overview
This position will help to minimize the risk of job-related incidents, accidents and hazardous activities. This position will also promote and abide by identified rules, policies, and procedures to create a healthy and safe workplace. Candidate must have a proactive approach to safety and able to assist coaching employees in order to improve their safety mindsets. Must be a team player and have good communication skills.
Primary Job Functions
- Administration of safety related training of current and new employees.
- Visit job sites to conduct safety audits on personnel, equipment and materials.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and policies for the benefit of employees and clients.
- Produce accident reports and evaluate injury case studies based on available facts and communicate management
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (including OSHA, EPA, FMCSA, PHMSA, PEC, Veriforce, ISNet, etc.)
- Lead internal and external audits in relation to business and safety practices and standards.
- Assist in tracking incidents, near miss, and injury data.
- Abide by and promote all safety compliance in accordance with the business, industry, vendors, and customers
- Act and communicate in a manner that will maintain a positive work atmosphere for customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
- Practice safety on a daily basis, always wear appropriate PPE and be a leader in safety
- Other duties may also be assigned.

Requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Experience:
- 3 years of related experience in a safety related field.
- 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Bachelors Degree in Safety or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA, PHMSA, FMCSA and EPA standards with regard to oil and gas industry. OR An acceptable combination of education and experience
- Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
