Surveillance Escalation Specialist

Position Summary
Stealth Monitoring, a leading provider in interactive surveillance, is looking for motivated and diligent individuals to join our team of Surveillance Escalation Specialists in the Tactical Operations Center in Hanover, MD. Our Surveillance Escalation Specialists are the heart and soul of our operation. They are passionate about our security solutions and reputation, and understand that Stealth can only continue to grow with their continued dedication. They are extremely detail-oriented and are effective communicators; working collaboratively with their peers and managers to deliver superior security surveillance to our customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review camera footage and assess potential security risk events.
• Responsible for understanding client specific requirements and protocols.
• Deter suspicious or unwanted activity from client properties.
• Responsible for contacting appropriate authorities with urgency (Police, Fire, Guard, etc.).
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Answer inbound calls while utilizing a multi-line phone system.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Special projects as assigned (audits, process documentation, research, etc.).
• Monitor camera alarms for assigned sites/station and act accordingly based on the events and severity of activity observed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 1 years of experience in Security/Monitoring is preferred but not required.
  
• Strong typing skills, 40 wpm – minimum.
• Experience with Microsoft office – word, excel.
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Able to multitask using different computer programs.
• Ability to work under pressure while observing and handling live criminal events.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  
• Ability to effectively use google maps.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of legally protected information.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail skills.

Working Conditions

• Office environment, in-person
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
