Vice President of Engineering
Location : Charlotte, North Carolina Office
Compensation : $135 to 175K based on experience.
A full-service engineering and construction firm has an immediate opening for a Vice President and Office Manager in its Charlotte, NC office. The preferred candidate must be registered as a professional engineer in North Carolina, have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field, and at least fifteen years of experience in marketing, managing, and designing water resources, transportation, and / or other engineering projects. Candidates must be well-versed with the engineering market in North Carolina and must have strong leadership and communication skills.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Defining the vision for the office.
- Determining the personnel and other resources needed.
- Hiring the best talent.
- Leading and managing office employees providing guidance and support.
- Identifying target clients and projects throughout North Carolina.
- Advancing clients’ relationships and leading proposal preparation.
- Ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Maintaining profitability of the office.
- Representing the company's best interests. Qualifications :
