What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer - Secret Clearance Required [28706] position at Stealth Stanford AI Startup?
Note : Only candidates who are eligible to obtain a Secret level security clearance, or who currently hold an active Secret level security clearance or greater, will be considered.
As part of the eligibility requirements for obtaining a security clearance include being a U.S. Citizen, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner.
- Analyze production processes, schedules, methods, and other data, and then provide management with reports containing the data and statistics to enable management to better understand future requirements needed for the manufacturing process.
- Create / edit models and drawings using SolidWorks.
- Create / edit routings, work cells, and BOM’s using SAP software.
- Design various fixtures for process improvements.
- Review engineering drawings for manufacturability; review Engineering Change Orders.
- Partner with design engineering to provide input in the manufacturability of product and drive through production.
- Create and optimize work cells and shop floor utilizing LEAN principals, tools, and methods.
- Adhere to company practices and ISO processes.
- Interpret specific system and product design requirements which ensure conformance to functional, customer, and operations / manufacturing criteria.
- Interface internally with all facility associates, management, and staff.
- Interface externally with customers and / or vendors for the purpose of furnishing, obtaining and / or clarifying information.
- Provide engineering program / project technical support to both internal and external customers.
- Communicates clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel, the customer, and vendors as required.
- Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Adheres to all quality and safety standards
- Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
