- Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy: Exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities, expanding client relationships, and driving the adoption of the company’s CPG and wellness solutions.
- People Leadership: Manage a small and driven team of business development specialists and account managers to ensure a full pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Understand client pain points, craft compelling business cases, and present data-backed solutions that align with CPG and wellness industry objectives, ensuring measurable ROI.
- Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Maintain a strong sales pipeline in Salesforce CRM, track deal progress, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure quarterly business targets are met.
- Market Penetration & Client Engagement: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan by researching market opportunities, mapping key decision-makers, and leveraging industry insights to unlock new revenue streams.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure seamless implementation of solutions and optimize client engagement.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring MSAs, SOWs, and pricing align with company goals while maintaining strong financial health and operational efficiency.
- Industry Insights: Stay informed on consumer trends, retail strategies, and digital marketing advancements to tailor solutions and provide strategic value to clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Strengthen relationships through multi-channel engagement, including in-person meetings, virtual calls, and conferences, ensuring long-term partnerships and continued business growth.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Utilize analytics tools to track sales performance, measure client impact, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6 years of experience in consultative sales, business development, or account management within the CPG, retail, or wellness industries.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets by developing and executing strategic sales plans.
- Strong consultative sales skills with experience presenting complex data and technology-driven solutions to CPG and wellness stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and analytics tools to track sales performance and forecast revenue.
- Ability to build and maintain executive-level client relationships with CPG brands, retailers, and wellness companies.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive seamless execution of CPG and wellness solutions.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, including pricing discussions and contract execution.
