Role Description
We're seeking a talented and creative Design Co-Founder to join our team full-time at our Cambridge, MA office. As a core member of our startup, you'll lead the design and user experience of our SaaS platform, ensuring our product is both functional and delightful to use. You'll work closely with the CEO, Technical Co-Founder, and cross-functional teams to develop a design vision that is intuitive, engaging, and effective in delivering our mission.We want someone who thrives in a startup environment, where the pace is fast, ideas are fluid, and each day presents a new opportunity to innovate. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of our SaaS product, including the user experience (UX), user interface (UI), and overall visual aesthetic.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Technical Co-Founder to shape the product vision and ensure the design supports user needs and business objectives.
- Conduct user research, create user personas, and design workflows to create a product experience that is engaging and user-friendly.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate ideas effectively and guide product development.
- Design and implement a cohesive brand identity across the platform, ensuring consistency and an impactful visual presence.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends and incorporate best practices to ensure our product is modern, innovative, and accessible.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of user-centered design, with experience in both UX and UI design.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- A portfolio that demonstrates your experience designing engaging, intuitive digital products, ideally within SaaS or consumer-focused applications.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a deep passion for healthcare and technology.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, think creatively, and solve complex design challenges.
- Fun, easy-going personality, and ready to bring positive energy to the team.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Experience with healthcare products or data visualization is a plus (but not required).
Compensation
- This role is equity-based until the company raises funds, providing an opportunity to share in the success and growth of the startup. As a co-founder, you'll have significant equity ownership, directly tying your contributions to the company's future success. You'll also be the third employee of the company, giving you the chance to significantly influence its direction and culture while having fun along the way.
