Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Design Studio to find technical solutions aligned with their vision while suggesting enhancements to the overall product design.
- Utilize user product research to devise design solutions that effectively meet the needs of our target customers.
- Design and develop structural Class A frame parts, cosmetic closeout panels, suspension components, and sealed housings for PCBA's.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to package components effectively.
- Engineer solutions that uphold standards for vehicle Safety, Durability, and NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness).
- Create and finalize engineering release drawings and 3D models, ensuring thorough documentation.
- Oversee program-specific timelines, DFMEA, and DVP action items to ensure project efficiency.
- Achieve cost, weight, and reliability goals for parts and assemblies under your purview.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are producible in a consistent and stable manner.
