Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications and services that scale effectively.
Implement best practices for application security, ensuring our systems stand resilient against modern cyber threats.
Lead architectural decisions related to new features and services to guarantee scalability and maintainability.
Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
Develop and deploy containerized applications utilizing tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver top-quality software solutions.
Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security in cloud-native environments, primarily on AWS.
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies to continually enhance our systems.
Qualifications and Skills
5 years of professional experience in software engineering, focusing on cybersecurity applications or platforms.
Proficiency in Python or TypeScript , with a strong understanding of their ecosystems and frameworks.
Expertise in containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes .
Proven ability to design and implement secure and resilient systems.
Experience with managing CI / CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Knowledge of secure coding practices and familiarity with common security frameworks or compliance standards (e.g., NIST, OWASP, SOC2).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, capable of analyzing and refining system performance.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a cybersecurity-focused startup or product company.
Familiarity with threat modeling, incident response, or penetration testing.
Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform , or CloudFormation.
Knowledge of modern logging, monitoring, and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.).
Experience in building event-driven architectures using technologies like EventBridge or Kafka.
Experience with building streaming applications using technologies like Apache Flink, Redpanda, or Data Bricks.
Familiarity with microservices and serverless architectures.
