Responsibilities
- Architect and implement electrical systems for optical and laser technologies, emphasizing power distribution, control algorithms, and signal processing.
- Collaborate with optics teams to seamlessly integrate electrical designs with high-power laser platforms, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, and wiring configurations for satellite and laser subsystems.
- Perform rigorous lab-based testing and validation of electrical components, incorporating detectors, sensors, and laser control hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in electrical hardware to ensure robust performance under diverse environmental conditions.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams—including optical, mechanical, and thermal engineers—to optimize overall system functionality.
- Generate comprehensive technical documentation, such as design specifications, test procedures, and system requirements.
