Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer III for our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (i.e., EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT), or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
Required Education/Experience:
- The position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (i.e. EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT), or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
- IAT - Level II
Required Skills:
- Network Firewalls, Juniper or Cisco
- The position requires an IAT Level II 8570 Compliant Certification such as Security , GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.
- The position requires a government security clearance (DoD Secret – minimum, Top Secret - desired); you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
- The position is based at a LM facility in Colorado Springs, CO in the long-term, however, this role must be able to travel to alternate work locations, such as Schriever Space Force Base, Alaska, Guam, Europe, etc., to execute job duties such as deployments.
- Must be a proven network engineer with hands-on mid-level experience and knowledge of network design, development and testing methodologies.
Desired Skills:
In addition to the required skill list above, the ideal candidate will have some level of familiarity with the following:
- Must be able to maintain the required clearance for duration of employment.
- Must be a US citizen to meet eligibility requirements for DoD security clearance as applies to this position.
- Must have demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
- Must be able to work in-person, onsite at assigned location 5 days per week (M-F), 8 hours perday
- Must be familiar with Cloud Foundation, NSX, vSAN and Aria, Network automation using Ansible
- Must have Prior C2BMC Experience
