We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality carpet cleaning services to both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial services, floor care, and environmental services, ensuring that all carpets are cleaned to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpet cleaning using various techniques and equipment, including steam cleaning and shampooing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Conduct pre-cleaning inspections to assess the condition of carpets and identify any specific client needs.
- Apply appropriate cleaning solutions based on the type of carpet and level of soiling.
- Buff and maintain floors as needed, ensuring a polished appearance for all surfaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during the cleaning process.
- Follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines while using cleaning products.
- Document completed work and report any issues or additional services required to management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in carpet cleaning, custodial work, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
