Janitor
Position Summary:
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the event center.
Responsibilities:
- Keep work area neat and organized.
- Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
- Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
- Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook.
Perform all other duties assigned.Qualifications:
- Janitorial experience preferred.
- Knowledge of chemicals and operation of industrial machines.
- Ability to:
- Work any day of the week and any hour.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Work as part of a team.
- Communicate effectively.
- Receive and follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Work well under pressure.
Dishwasher
Essential Functions:
- Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
- Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
- Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly
- Empty trash containers regularly
- Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed
- Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
- Clean food prep stations and equipment
- Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are always maintained throughout all kitchen areas
- Implement training to increase others knowledge about safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles
- Keep management informed of F&B issues as they arise

Qualifications:
- Possession of government required licenses or certificates
- Self-confident, proactive, and able to prioritize and make effective decisions
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly
- Working knowledge of sanitation procedures
This position has two locations within blocks of each other downtown.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
