Job Overview
We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Maintenance Person to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our state-of-the-art equipment and tools in top condition, ensuring we can deliver superior cleaning and restoration services to our customers 24/7. Key Responsibilities
This role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
- Equipment Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Clean and maintain small restoration equipment, including commercial dehumidifiers, air movers, air scrubbers, and air duct cleaning tools, following manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
- Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of truck-mounted cleaning systems, wands, tile tools, upholstery tools, and other specialized equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or malfunctions, reporting issues promptly to prevent downtime during emergency calls.
- Scheduled Maintenance:
- Follow weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance schedules as recommended by manufacturers for truck-mounted systems, restoration tools, and cleaning accessories.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance tasks, including dates, actions taken, and any parts replaced, to support our commitment to accountability and transparency.
- Safety & Quality Standards:
- Adhere to rigorous safety protocols to avoid cross-contamination and ensure all equipment meets our high-quality standards for customer jobs.
- Use eco- and pet-friendly cleaning solutions, aligning with our promise to deliver safe, effective services.
- Team Support:
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment for emergency response jobs, ensuring tools are ready for action at a moment’s notice.
- Collaborate with our cleaning and restoration crews to troubleshoot equipment issues on-site when needed.
- Additional Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, treating our equipment and facilities with the same respect we show our customers’ homes.
- Provide feedback on equipment performance to help us refine our processes and stay ahead with the latest technology.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in equipment maintenance, cleaning, or a related field is a plus but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!
- Skills:
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to tasks.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including manufacturer manuals.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver equipment in tight spaces.
