POSITION SUMMARY
Information Technology Support Technician needed. Must ski or snowboard at an intermediate level. Two years of experience with a taste for adventure needed! This is a year-round position with benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Work as part of a technical team. Collaborate on problem solving and building a positive, cooperative workspace.
Respond to requests and incidents in the FreshService system for hardware, software, telecom, Active Directory, network, printing, sales points, and others as needed.
Provide technical support to employees and train non-technical workers on the business's information systems.
Assist IT Business Analysts, Infrastructure Manager, IT Ops Manager and IT Director with special projects.
Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software in accordance with company standards.
Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
Ability to accurately document work as it is done; modify and customize commercial programs for internal needs.
Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements.
Respond to off hour urgent issues.
Be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must clearly read, write, and communicate in English
2 years' experience in IT or related field in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, and peripherals preferred
Must meet SSRC minimum driving standards and have current Driver’s license; a successful motor vehicle record background check is required
Effective communication and guest service skills to assist computer users of all proficiency levels
Proficiency with PC hardware and peripheral troubleshooting and repair; basic network troubleshooting
Proficiency with install, configuration, and use of Microsoft operating systems, common applications such as the Office365 suite, and to learn and support configurations of highly customized applications; telecom experience is a plus
Expected to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with SSRC’s Service Excellence standards
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, required
College degree, or vocational training in IT preferred
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $24.04 – $26.35 per hour
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must work in cramped spaces: under desks, behind computer equipment, and in wiring closets
Must work on ladders, roofs, ceilings, and other high locations
Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs. (computers, monitors, printers, etc.) on a regular basis
Use various hand tools such as screwdrivers, cable crimpers, etc.
Must ski or snowboard at minimum intermediate level
Expected to safely operate company vehicles
