About the Job: We are seeking dedicated and flexible substitute teachers to join our team at the Steamboat Child Care Center. As an Early Childhood Sub, you will support Early Childhood Teachers and Assistant Teachers with the education, supervision, and care of children throughout the year.
The ideal candidate will have a willingness to train, knowledge of child development, and a concern for the proper care and well-being of young children.
- Support classroom teachers and assistant teachers
- Provide a safe, healthy, and secure environment with an emphasis on children's social-emotional, physical, and cognitive needs
- Perform daily child care duties as assigned including feeding, diapers/potty, and naps
- Help in other classrooms as needed
- Maintain confidentiality
- Work cooperatively on a team with other teaching professionals
