About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic Facilitator to guide children through their Steamoji missions. In this role, you will inspire confidence, cultivate a love of STEM, and create a safe, engaging environment for children to explore, learn, and grow.
Your Impact:
- Assist children (4–6 apprentices per session) in completing projects and solving challenges.
- Ensure a fun and safe workspace, teaching proper use of tools and equipment.
- Support skill-building in areas like problem-solving, design thinking, and teamwork.
- Share project progress with parents through videos and feedback.
Responsibilities
- Implement the Steamoji curriculum and uphold its core values.
- Prepare for sessions by reviewing instructional videos.
- Guide apprentices through their missions, offering encouragement and guidance.
- Monitor safety and provide hands-on support with tools and equipment.
- Celebrate progress and milestones by creating video artifacts and offering parent feedback.
Qualifications
We welcome graduates and college/university students who enjoy working with children and want to develop technological skills. Ideal candidates should:
