Starting annual salary range of $60,000 - 110,000. Employment offers will be dependent upon the selected candidate’s relevant qualifications and experience.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the day-to-day management of deposit operations, teller operations, deposit product sales and customer service for the St. Cloud branch in the pursuit of maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. A primary focus of this role is to drive significant growth in new consumer and business deposits through proactive networking, community engagement, and effective sales strategies. Provide supervision for tellers and universal bankers to optimally train, coach, evaluate, recognize, and reward performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to significantly increase the branch's consumer and business deposit base through proactive networking and community involvement.
- Lead, coach, and motivate branch staff to achieve individual and team sales goals, fostering a culture of exceptional customer service.
- Oversee all branch operations, including teller functions, new account openings, and customer service, ensuring efficiency and compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Actively network within the St. Cloud community, building relationships with local businesses, organizations, and individuals to generate new business opportunities.
- Represent Stearns Bank at community events and participate in local initiatives to enhance the bank's visibility and build brand awareness.
- Monitor branch performance, analyze market trends, and develop strategies to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities for deposit growth.
- Ensure branch compliance with all applicable banking regulations, including BSA/AML requirements, and maintain a strong understanding of risk management principles.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree or higher and/or 5 years banking experience preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or a similar role, with a strong emphasis on deposit growth.
- Demonstrated ability to network effectively and build strong relationships within the community.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and services.
- Knowledge of Fiserv Premier core system preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
