Position Overview:
The Customer Relations Manager will play a key role in generating sales, building relationships with potential customers, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial contact to post-installation follow-up. This role requires a proactive, charismatic individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for renewable energy, and a drive to meet and exceed sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation:
- Conduct cold calling and outreach to potential customers to generate leads and schedule appointments.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Identify customer needs and present tailored solar solutions to meet their energy goals.
- Customer Engagement:
- Attend local events, trade shows, and community outreach programs to promote Steel City Solar and generate leads.
- Answer customer questions about solar energy, financing options, incentives, and the installation process.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build trust and rapport with potential clients.
- Appointment Scheduling:
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for our closers/sales team to meet with qualified leads.
- Ensure all customer information is accurately recorded and communicated to the sales team.
- Post-Sale Follow-Up:
- Request and collect customer reviews and testimonials after installations are completed.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Identify opportunities for referrals and repeat business.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
- Provide feedback to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role.
- Strong cold calling and outreach skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly.
- Knowledge of solar energy or a willingness to learn about the industry.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about renewable energy.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
