Position Details:

• Shift: 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday; 5:00am – 3:00pm
• Pay Range: Up to $25.00/hour (based upon experience, skill set, and shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• Make proper adjustments to colors on paint guns to meet customer specifications.
• Use correct paint gun techniques for consistency, density, and quality.
• Apply coatings to protect or decorate workpiece surfaces using spray gun.
• Detect color differences, including shades or brightness variations.
• Ensure products entering the booth are coatable and that masking has been completed.
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues at the paint line.
• Inspect finished surfaces for conformance to specifications.
• Maintain production rates and uphold quality standards.
• Check and identify worn parts on spray guns to ensure proper function.
• Perform regular maintenance on paint guns, including cleaning and adjustments.
• Set up paint guns accurately and properly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with good housekeeping practices.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
  • 6 months of experience in industrial paint with a solid work history in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of painting techniques and color matching.
  • Experience with Electrostatic paint equipment.
  • Ability to prevent cross-contamination during painting.
  • Knowledge of paint gun set-up.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, work orders, or customer specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of handling hazardous waste materials related to paint.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects or tools.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and move from place to place.
