Metal Work Installer (gates, fences, etc.)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Iron Fence & Gate Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining iron fences, gates, and related metal structures. This role requires attention to detail, physical strength, and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair iron fences, gates, railings, and related structures

• Measure, cut, weld, and assemble materials as needed

• Dig post holes and secure fence posts in concrete

• Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment, and other necessary machinery

• Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

• Communicate effectively with customers and team members

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Organize tools, supplies, and paperwork

Requirements:

• Experience in fence/gate installation, welding, or metal fabrication preferred

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings

• Proficiency with welding, cutting, and grinding tools PREFERRED

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or scaffolding as needed

• Pass a background check

• Pass drug test

• Lift at least 100 pounds

• Clean driving record

• Work well with others

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
