- Provide support for all mechanical repair personnel
- Investigate/troubleshoot mechanical problems or equipment failures
- Establish/maintain infrastructure for mechanical maintenance and continuous improvement
- Interfacing with operations on continuous process improvements
- Management of costs as it relates to spare parts, repairs, contractors, vendors, etc.
- Manage capital projects
Qualifications
- 4 year Engineering or Engineering Technology degree
- Strong computer skills (Auto CAD, SolidWorks)
- Competency in Microsoft Office
- Work without direct supervision (self-motivated)
- Multi-task and manage projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn and train others
- Must be able to work collaboratively and constructively with Operations, Maintenance, and other departments
- Problem-solving and cost management skills
- Outstanding work record
- Willingness to work unscheduled hours/days
- Strong work ethic, self-starter, positive outlook, team player
Preferred
- Caster/LMF knowledge and experience
- Combustion Controls experience
- High level of planning, project management, and troubleshooting skills
