Overview
Maintain and perform mechanical duties for the water treatment and general utilities for the site.
Responsibilities
• Perform inspection of areas for required maintenance attention.• Learn and assist operators with water treatment process.• Understand P&IDs, drawings and equipment manuals.• Systematically log and document activities• Learn, understand, and assist with SDI safety programs.• Working with contractors, scheduling, and maintaining process equipment.
Qualifications
Required:
• Strong Mechanical aptitude • Ability to read mechanical prints.• Good communication skills (operators, electricians, supervisor)• Ability to thoroughly understand the water processes. • Project planning, execution, and completion
Preferred:
• Basic understanding of power components and electromechanical equipment• Proficiency in welding, torching and fabrication.• Rotating equipment alignment• Rigging skills• Air compressor maintenance• Experience with maintaining fluid systems (pumps, valves, etc.)• Ability to read P and IDs efficiently.
