Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with existing customers
- Maximize margin opportunities with existing accounts
- Identify and develop opportunities with new customers
- Procure scrap metal from industrial generators from multiple locations throughout the United States.
- Resolve internal and external customer service issues.
- Complete administrative work on a timely basis
- This position is located in Nashville, TN.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to successfully interact with clients and management
- Working knowledge of scrap pricing, material identification, costs, operations, and transportation
- Ability to generate leads, qualify leads, and close deals
- Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Outstanding people skills and the ability to interact with others
- Ability to work and make decisions independently, yet be a team player
- Abilty to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once
- Good organization and time management skills
- Bachelor degree in related field required
- The travel expectations are 50%.
