The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia has an opening for a Production Clerk.
Responsibilities
- Maintains our finished inventory count including entering data on excel spreadsheets for both rolling mills (production and maintenance)
- Assist supervision with safety related forms and processing as well as daily journal entries for both shifts on each mill
- Work outdoors in an industrial environment, which means you need to be able to work in cold weather conditions in the winter and warm weather conditions in the summer
- Required to wear all approved PPE (such as hard had, safety goggles, and metatarsal safety boots) needed to perform this job.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Successful clerical experience
