Overview
The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia is expanding and adding a position for a Staff Accountant. As we continue to grow, we have a need for an experienced Regional Sales Manager. The RSM will mine, cultivate, and maintain new and existing customers while building deep relationships to execute personal sales goals that align with the divisional strategy. Candidate must fully understand and communicate variables, challenges, and successes within the defined territory. Rep must be self-sufficient and innovative to compose tactics to execute the strategy for a territory.
Responsibilities
· High frequency of travel, consecutive overnights mandatory.
· Must be able to work occasional odd hours to be successful.
· Ability to manage time, travel, and oneself.
· Fiduciary responsibility to manage expenses, entertainment, and travel (SDI does not provide corporate credit cards)
· Potential for international travel- ability to acquire travel pass/VISA.
· High business ethics. This position means you are a visual representative of the company in your personal community & territory 100% of the time.
· Sales experience
· Highly inquisitive and self-motivated
· Proficient in basic computer skills, including Excel.
· Must be able to work in a team environment and willing to help teammates daily.
· Outstanding communicator – written and oral
· Assertive/ Confident - ability to ask for orders, demand mutual respect within buyer/seller transaction while maintaining humility.
· Quick thinking – must have the ability to start conversation in one-on-one settings or with multiple individuals at once.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- High-energy and self-motivate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multiple years field/territory management.
- Outside sales/travel experience.
- Experience in Salesforce, SAP Concur, or foundation of CRM system
- Bachelor’s Degree
