Electrical maintenance of all plant equipment
Responsibilities
- Understanding of PLC Logic and HMI's (Capable of troubleshooting control issues)
- Industrial Networks (ControlNet, Device Net, Profibus, Ethernet)
- Strong Motor skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of Process Instrumentation and Applications
- Medium and High Voltage Switchgear (up to 161kV)
- Ability to work without direct supervision (Self Motivated)
- Ability to multi-task & follow through on projects with peers.
- Willingness to learn and train others.
- Good communication skills with ability to log activities in a database.
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...)
- Outstanding work record
- Must be willing to work unscheduled days when needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Basic knowledge of power distribution, AC motors and motor control
- Experience in relay control circuits and/or PLC’s
- Skilled at troubleshooting, problem-solving, and installation of electrical equipment
Preferred:
- At least 2 years working as an electrician or technician in an industrial environment or a 2-year electrical tech degree.
- Experienced in working on controls and distribution.
- Good working knowledge and understanding of Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs and drives.
