- Class A CDL Drivers have a variety of responsibilities under company policy and federal law.
- We expect all Omni employees to conduct themselves in a professional manner, representing the Company and the trucking industry well through responsible driving and exceptional customer service.
- Safety is expected to be at the forefront of our Class A CDL drivers' minds.QualificationsOnly those applicants who meet the following criteria will be considered for employment with Omni as a CDL A Driver :
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Must be able to pass a Federal DOT drug screen, physical, and breath-alcohol test after offer acceptance.
- Posses at minimum two years of verifiable tractor / trailer experience; OR 1 year of tractor / trailer experience with a graduation certificate from an accredited tractor / trailer driving school.
- Has the ability to read, write, and interpret the English language sufficient to communicate with law enforcement and company personnel.
- Has the ability to perform simple math calculations to handle receipts, maintain logs, read road maps and instructions.
- Has knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, and inspection maintenance.
