Water Treatment Operator monitors and adjust all water treatment and air compressor equipment, Chemical Tests, Perform maintenance and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand water and air systems
- Adjusts equipment to ensure proper system operation
- Turning pumps on/off, checking/adjusting water levels chemicals, flows, etc.
- Perform basic maintenance and trouble shooting
- Work with water and air users within the Mill
- Vacation coverage for coworkers
- Job will entail other misc. tasks
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience with mobile equipment
- A strong focus on safety
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking skills
- Self-starter
- Must be physically able to lift heavy parts
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Basic knowledge of water treatment processes
Preferred:
- Knowledge of water treatment systems,
- Experience with operations, Crane and/or Forklift.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic.
