  • Job Summary :

    The position involves representing the company in the steel market by advocating our product lines and processing capabilities, as well as identifying potential business opportunities to increase sales. You will oversee managing existing customer accounts, developing new ones, and ensuring their growth through face-to-face and phone interactions. Acting as the main point of contact for customers, you will foster customer loyalty by maintaining relationships, increasing business through value added services and handling any concerns that arise from customers.

    Primary Responsibilities :

    • Act as a strategic partner for assigned customer accounts.
    • Provide value-added services to ensure growth with assigned accounts.
    • Demonstrate discretion and independent judgment when handling customer needs.
    • Develop innovative approaches to secure new business.
    • Manage assigned customer accounts and cultivate customer relationships.
    • Work with minimal supervision
    • Monitor inventory to ensure product availability for customer orders.
    • Enter and process customer orders.
    • Identify and approach potential new customers via phone calls, emails, and mail.
    • Negotiate pricing with customers and communicate with management staff on pricing.
    • Required and Preferred Qualifications :

    • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or related fields is helpful.
    • Excellent time management abilities
    • Proficiency in managing customer accounts.
    • Strong mathematical, computer and analytical skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
    • Quick learning ability and adaptability to a rapidly changing market
    • Ability to cold call when necessary to generate new business.
    • Self-starter and highly motivated individual
    • Capable of working effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
    • Skillful in prioritizing work and managing multiple tasks.
    • Ability to address concerns promptly and tactfully.
    • Previous experience in steel sales is beneficial, but not required.
    • Education Level :

      Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

      Compensation : $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
