What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crane Operator position at Steel Erectors Association?
Job Summary
Load / unload or otherwise move inventory through the use of overhead crane or other material handling equipment as specified according to work orders and by directive of supervisor.
Qualifications :
- Log and report inventory location changes according to specified procedure
- Assemble customer orders according to work orders.
- Log and tag inventory received according to specified procedure.
- Record pertinent material information on to work orders or other forms as specified by management.
- Special projects as specified by management.
- High attention to detail.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Performance of other Warehouse or Processing / Maintenance Department tasks as required by the absence of a department member or due to the existence of a backlog of work.
Compensation : $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
