What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Spreader position at Steel Grip, Inc.?
Summary: Prepares cutting table with appropriate materials for cutting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Request material from the warehouse.
- Check shading and correct side of material when laying out on cutting table.
- Record material used and return to area for warehouse operators to store in warehouse.
- Spreads fabric on table preparatory to cutting.
- Arranges patterns on top ply of fabric and marks outline of pattern on fabric with chalk or crayon.
- Other duties as assigned.

- 1 years' experience and/or training in production or quality related operations is preferred
