Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Summary: Receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the plant and assists with maintenance throughout the plant as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reads production schedule, customer, work and shipping orders as well as requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
- Check in materials from suppliers
- Supply cutting department with material requests
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed and maintains inventory records
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing and shipping station(s)
- Ensures load and all items being shipped are properly strapped and secured
- Loads and unloads truck which includes the use of a pallet jack and / or lift truck
- Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments
- Prepares parcels for mailing
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 years related experience and/or training
- Forklift proficiency

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have a valid driver's license, CDL Class B license, and a Forklift license will need to be obtained.
