What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Consultant position at Steel House Indianapolis?
Company Overview
Steel House was established in the late 1980’s. At first, we just sold extra material from larger fabrication jobs. But, over the course of the next 20 years the business had grown to the point that a new shop was built in 2007 for the ability to carry more stock and begin completing for our own fabrication jobs. Since then, we have still flourished and now operate out of four other locations city-wide.
We are located centrally and conveniently in downtown Indianapolis allowing a smooth transportation of material and growing customer base. On any given day at Steel House we have no less than 30 full-time workers between our office staff, shop foreman, operators, drivers, and welders.
Steel House is a steel supply and fabrication company that specializes in quick turnaround, structural steel supply and fabrication, and JIT delivery for critical components relating to primarily commercial construction. In addition to commercial construction, residential construction through home-builders is facilitated, and we allow the public to purchase material from our facilities. Although the general public is a small portion of our business, we still welcome anyone with great customer service, because that is the Steel House way!
