Position Summary :
As a Cook at Steel District Hospitality, you will be an integral part of the kitchen team, responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards. This role requires precision, speed, and a commitment to maintaining consistency in every dish. You’ll be working alongside a talented group of culinary professionals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare, cook, and present menu items with attention to quality and consistency
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines as directed by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Ensure that food preparation meets safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Assist with the setup and organization of workstations before and during service
- Participate in daily food prep and ensure all items are prepped and ready for service
- Manage stock levels, conduct inventory, and assist in the ordering of supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and efficient workspace
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food storage and handling
