Federal Collection Specialists must display the above characteristics AND a strong ability to follow directions and perform their duties in a highly ethical and compliant manner.
The responsibilities include contacting borrowers owing the federal government and securing repayment of those debts in the shortest time possible. The contract allows for Administrative Wage Garnishment (AWG) as additional leverage.
Prior Collection Agency Collection Experience is the most desired. Related experience in certain types of Sales (like Car Sales, Cold Calling and other Commission/Bonus driven roles) or Management and Collection of Payday/Title loans or similar products are also highly desired. Commission or Bonus driven Call Center Experience is also desired.
Must have a strong work ethic, be intelligent, organized, and motivated.
Candidates must be well versed on using a computer, specifically windows, have ability to learn, understand and comply with compliance related regulations and policy while performing their duties.
We are required to maintain 35% of our workforce with employees who reside in a Federal HUBZone. We are ONLY looking to hire staff that qualify as a HUBZONE resident. We are only hiring staff committed to working full time (40 hours per week) and who can work ONSITE from our ROCK FALLS, IL office location. Proof of residency will be required.
